No new STEM Lab shirt? No problem!

Trainers are also welcome to wear a Pokémon-themed shirt or outfit to get into the spirit of the Quest. ⚡🎴

📓 FIRST THINGS FIRST: BRING YOUR QUEST PASSPORT!

Remember those little Pokémon notebooks students received in their fundraiser swag bags? THAT is your Quest Passport! 📓⚡

Please have your STEMster bring their notebook with them Friday night. As Trainers travel through the different Gyms/stations and complete their challenges, they’ll receive a stamp in their passport at each Gym.

We realize we did NOT communicate appropriately when the notebooks went home that they would eventually be used as passports for the event.

So if your child has already:

✏️ Written in it
🎨 Drawn pictures in it
📝 Used some—or a lot—of the pages
💜 Completely made it their own... BRING IT ANYWAY!

It does not need to be blank. We’ll find room for those stamps!

Can’t find it? Forgot it? No worries—we’ll have a limited number of extras available at the event.

👧🧒 SIBLINGS CAN QUEST TOO! Siblings who did not receive a fundraiser swag bag are absolutely welcome to participate.

⚡ HOW THE QUEST WORKS

CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE!

There is no required starting point and no particular order in which you need to visit the Gyms.

Move around the event at your own pace, visit each themed Gym, complete its activity or challenge and collect a stamp in your passport. Give yourself enough time to complete ALL gyms! (Event ends promptly at 7:00pm!)

🎯 YOUR MISSION: Complete ALL of the Gyms + collect ALL of your passport stamps.

Once you have every stamp...🏆 HEAD TO THE GOLDEN LYNX BOOTH! (Note: This one is not a 'gym', it's just where you go last!)

Show your completed passport and you’ll receive your very own...🎴 PACK OF POKÉMON CARDS!

Every Trainer who completes all of the Gyms and collects all of their stamps will receive a pack! But before you tear into those cards... You may want to cross your fingers. 🤞 Because some very special cards are hiding among them.

WILL YOU BE THE TRAINER WHO FINDS IT?! 👀🏆

NORMAL GYM

Decorate your passport book using markers, colored pencils, crayons, and stickers.

FIRE GYM

Toss 3 rings toward the fire-themed targets. Get at least 1 ring onto a target.

WATER GYM

Use water squirters to knock a cup off a table or blast a cup along a string between two poles.

ROCK GYM

Choose a rock and decorate it using paint pens/paint markers.  Leave your rock in our STEM Lab garden, or take it with you.

FIGHTING GYM

Throw balls to knock down as many cans as you can.

FLYING GYM

Throw frisbees at or through or into  the targets. 

PSYCHIC GYM

Guess which cup is hiding the mystery item.

ELECTRIC GYM 

Shoot basketballs/balls into buckets to claim prize as part of the Pokéball Power Shot challenge. 

DRAGON GYM

Move safely through the Dragon Gym obstacle course using tunnels, balance beams, hula hoops, cones, hurdles, and pool noodles.

STEEL GYM

Pick up or stay and assemble your launcher, and test it using ping-pong balls.

GRASS GYM

Play one of the available yard games, such as Jenga, Connect 4, or Cornhole. Take a break. Relax.

GHOST GYM

Use the Ghost Type Photo Booth to take a photo using props trainer hats, your passport...Do it with friends, family, or alone.

TEAM ROCKET

Take a Team Rocket Dance Break!

Visit the merchandise station to see what we have left — no purchase required to earn your stamp.

🚗 PARKING

Please use available school parking lots or legal street parking surrounding STEM Lab.

A few reminders:

• Please do not block neighborhood driveways.
• Watch carefully for children and families walking between vehicles and crossing streets.
• Give yourself a little extra time to park and walk over.

🩹 SAFETY FIRST

We’ll have a lot of very excited Trainers moving around Friday night!

Please help us keep an eye out for one another and encourage kids to walk when moving through crowded areas.

If you need assistance during the evening, find a PTO volunteer or head to the Team Rocket/ Mr. Tyler, and we’ll help get you where you need to go.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 THIS IS NOT A DROP-OFF EVENT

All students must attend with a responsible adult.

Families are encouraged to explore the event together, cheer on their Trainers and enjoy the evening as part of our STEM Lab community.

Please keep an eye on your children throughout the event, particularly as families move between the school grounds, Wyco Park and parking areas.
