We hit our 50% goal, so select staff members are rocking outfits inspired by their best (or worst 😂) school pictures today. Pictures to come!

AND as of this morning, we officially hit our 75% goal too! WOW! That means our staff will have to wear their craziest wigs for an entire school day! 🤪🎉

Final goal is $55,000 by midnight Friday (9/18)

Once we hit this goal, our entire admin team will compete in a hot sauce challenge in front of the whole school on Wednesday, September 23! 🌶️🔥🥵

Volunteers Needed—Big Time!

We need LOTS of helping hands to make our Quest for the Golden Lynx Fall Event a success!

Volunteer shifts range from just 45 minutes to 2 hours, and you’re welcome to sign up for more than one shift if you’d like. PLUS: every volunteer will be entered to win 4 tickets to the Denver Zoo on October 3rd!!

Join us all day at Jenny Pho, 6765 W 120th Ave A, in Broomfield. Skip the cooking and support STEM Lab while supporting a wonderful local, family-owned business!

Enjoy your favorite pho, noodles, rice dishes, and more either dine-in or takeout. Jenny Pho is a cozy, smaller restaurant, so if you’re planning to join us during a busy time, consider ordering takeout and enjoying your meal at home!

Mention STEM Lab and they will give back a percentage to the school!

If you want to create a fun monster box this year and/or if you want to participate in decorating your car or a table for Trunk or Treat please [SIGN UP HERE] We also have other volunteer opportunities that night. Check it out!

We will also be asking families to donate a bag of candy aka 'feed our monsters'. We use that candy to fill the trunks! The class with the most candy donated (by lbs) wins a party!

Native Land Acknowledgement

As part of our ongoing practice at STEM Lab, we honor and acknowledge that the land we are located on today is the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Cheyenne, Arapaho, and Ute Nations and peoples. Many different Native tribes have used this land for trade, hunting, gathering, and healing. We extend our respect to Elders past, present, and future, and to all those who have stewarded the land and water since time immemorial. We invite others to join us in this acknowledgment to renew and reaffirm First Nations’ history in Colorado and to pay tribute to these traditional homelands and their people.
