Color Your Way to the Wall of Fame Help your child track their fundraising progress with our Lynx Quest Fundraising Trackers! Choose from goal sheets for $70, $100, $200, $300, $400, or $500 and color in each section as donations come in. It’s also a fun way for friends and family to choose their donation amount — they can say, “I’ll take the $25 spot!” and your student gets to color it in as they work toward their goal. Once the tracker is completely colored, send it back to school so we can add it to our Lynx Fundraising Wall and celebrate all of our students’ hard work! [SPANISH] Families will make their way through exciting activity stations ('gyms'), collect stamps ('badges'), play games, create, dance, explore, and complete their very own Quest for the Golden Lynx. 🐾✨ With food trucks, music from Mr. Tyler, activities for all ages, prizes, and plenty of surprises along the way, this is one STEM Lab celebration you won’t want to miss!
This event is our chance to come together as a community and celebrate everything our students and families accomplished during the Fall Fundraiser. |
| We need LOTS of helping hands to make our Quest for the Golden Lynx Fall Event a success! Volunteer shifts range from just 45 minutes to 2 hours, and you’re welcome to sign up for more than one shift if you’d like. There are plenty of ways to help, including event setup, activity and game stations, passport/stamp stations, merchandise, helping families move through the event, keeping stations stocked and organized, and cleanup. If you know someone who might be interested, please share the sign-up link with them. |

| September Reflections by Vita Malama (Cultural Appreciation Coordinator) September includes traditions and observances connected to heritage, reflection, community, and seasonal change. These may include Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15), which celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities; Labor Day, which recognizes the contributions of workers and the labor movement; and, for some families, religious observances such as Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year (dates vary by year). |

September also includes the Autumn Equinox, observed across cultures as a time to mark seasonal transition, harvest, balance, and preparation for the months ahead. As the seasons begin to shift, September offers opportunities to reflect on gratitude, learning, and the many communities that contribute to our shared society. | STEM Lab Garden Clean-up Do you own a chainsaw? How about a drill? Our school garden could use a few helping hands! We have several projects coming up and would love support from our STEM Lab families and community members.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help with: - 🪵 Leveling logs in the garden
- 🔨 Removing or repairing items for safety reasons
- 🍂 Fall Garden Cleanup at the end of the growing season to help us get the garden cleaned up and ready for winter

Native Land Acknowledgement |
As part of our ongoing practice at STEM Lab, we honor and acknowledge that the land we are located on today is the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Cheyenne, Arapaho, and Ute Nations and peoples. Many different Native tribes have used this land for trade, hunting, gathering, and healing. We extend our respect to Elders past, present, and future, and to all those who have stewarded the land and water since time immemorial. We invite others to join us in this acknowledgment to renew and reaffirm First Nations’ history in Colorado and to pay tribute to these traditional homelands and their people. |
