In January, many families observe traditions connected to reflection, renewal, and justice. Traditions and observances that may be acknowledged include New Year traditions, observed across cultures as a time to reflect and set intentions; Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which honors Dr. King’s legacy and the ongoing work of justice, service, and community; and often times *Lunar New Year, celebrated in many Asian cultures and communities as a time of renewal, family, and good fortune. (*This year Lunar New Year is observed in February)
If you have an upcoming tradition or observance that is meaningful to your family—or if we missed one—we’d love to hear from you. Please email us at pto.stemlab@gmail.com or simply reply to this newsletter.
