šŸ‘¹ A Message from our STEM Lab Monsters:

"We’re STARVING! šŸ¬ Bring us candy, please! You can feed us by dropping your treats into any of our monster mouths throughout the building. Just make sure your bag is clearly labeled with your grade and teacher’s name—we like to know which humans are keeping us happy! šŸ˜‹"

EPIC EVENTS
Trunk or Treat & Volunteers Needed!

Get ready for a spooktacular night of fun at our annual FREEĀ Trunk or Treat event! šŸ¬šŸ‘» Bring your family and friends for a fun filled evening. Plus you get to vote on your favorite trunk of night! (Fun note: Hulstrom and Malley Drive have their trunk or treat event this night too. So you can make your rounds!) The line is VERY long to go to get through all of the trunks so please pack your patience. We will also have no access to a restroom that evening so plan accordingly.

Volunteer Oppurtunities!

We still have room forĀ Trunk or Treat volunteers! šŸŽƒ
Host a trunk, booth, or table, or help out by running our voting table!Ā If trunk spots fill up, don’t worry, just email us and we’ll open more!

Passive Fundraising Spotlight

This month, we’re challenging our community to sign up for the King Soopers Grocery Rewards Program. We currently have 172 families participating, and our goal is to reach 200 families by the end of the year!

Follow the steps below to enroll and be sure to share it with friends and family. Remember, it costs you nothing extra, but it makes a big difference for STEM Lab.

šŸ’” For example, last quarter alone we raised over $1,400 just from families who shop at King Soopers and are linked to support STEM Lab PTO!Ā It’s that easy! Click the image to download the flyer to share!

COMMUNITY CORNER
We Need More Lunch and Recess Monitors!

In light of recent budget cuts, our need for school volunteers is greater than ever. We’re looking for help starting at 10:35 AM each day to monitor Kindergarten and 1st grade lunch and recess, and/or at 11:00 AM for 2nd and 3rd grade lunch and recess.

If you’re interested in helping, simply show up any school day check in at the front office (don’t forget your ID!)—you’ll receive quick, on-the-spot training your first day. It's a super simple way to help our community.

Staff's Favorite Things

We’re often asked for staff favorites to help with special gifts, holidays, birthdays, and staff appreciation. So, we’ve gathered as much information as possible from those who submitted theirs!

If you don’t see someone listed, they haven’t shared their info yet. Please pay close attention to any allergies, aversions, or ā€œno thank youā€ items noted.

And remember, our staff are always most grateful for a simple note, drawing, or card above all else. šŸ’›

At STEM Lab, we believe that a strong, inclusive school culture thrives when families and educators work together. We value your voice and would love to know how you'd like to be involved in school culture activities and events throughout the year.Ā PleaseĀ [FILL OUT THIS SURVEY] so we can better plan meaningful opportunities, ensure every family feels represented, and create events that reflect our amazing community.
