We are excited to share an incredible opportunity to support our 7th-grade engineering students while making a meaningful impact in our community! As part of their PBL unit, Project Vitalis: Meeting Medical Research Demands with Synthetic Blood, our students are exploring the challenges posed by fluctuating and insufficient blood donation rates and how these issues hinder medical research and restorative care.
In partnership with Vitalant, we are hosting a blood drive right here at STEM Lab to highlight the importance of blood donations in meeting both current medical needs and advancing research.
By donating blood, you’ll not only contribute to vital medical needs but also inspire our students as they work toward innovative solutions to address this real-world problem.
We invite you to join us in making this event a success! For more information [like who qualifies to donate] or to schedule your donation, please visit [Drive Link Sign up]. Our goal is to collect 36 units!
